About ENSEA

Created in 1961, the Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée d’Abidjan, editor’s note), ENSEA, is a National Public Institution whose vocation is to provide training for statisticians in French-speaking African countries. In June 1969, due to its increasingly international character, a text law established the school as a higher education public institution with a civil personality and financial autonomy. To date, it has trained about 4,000 statisticians from more than twenty (20) countries in Africa and Haiti.
