Edward Philip used to say: “Knowledge is a weapon, library is an arsenal.
It is with this arsenal that the 1999 Senior Statistician Economist (ISE) Class has kindly provided ENSEA students through a donation of books and 8 desktop computers to the school library on Wednesday 17th February 2021.
Indeed, 22 years after receiving their Engineering Senior Statistician Economist degree, the alumni of the 10th class of ENSEA ISE return to this crucible of knowledge to give back what they received to maintain the course of excellence that characterizes the institution.
According to Paul ANGOUA, President of the ISE 1999 class, who is also the AfDB’s Chief Quantitative Risk Officer, a library is the ideal place where all knowledge is found. It is the place where students must meet to seek more information and knowledge in addition to the courses taught by lecturers.
The first person in charge of the library, Mrs. KOUADIO thanked the donors. On behalf of the students of the school, Adou KONIN, President of ENSEA students and trainees association thanked his elders for their donation and promised to make good use of it and why not follow their example once they graduate.
For Dr. Hugues KOUADIO, Director of ENSEA, this donation marks the Alumni’s attachment to their institution, but above all shows the example to be followed to make ENSEA stronger.
