The Department of Doctoral Training and Research of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA) in Abidjan is hosting Dr. Rabah Arezki, Economist at Harvard University and former Chief Economist of the African Development Bank and Vice President of the Economic Governance and Knowledge Management Complex of the African Development Bank, on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 9:00 am at ENSEA campus, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.
This visit is part of ENSEA’s doctoral seminars for doctoral students and research teachers. Dr. Arezki is a Senior Research Fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, an External Research Associate at Oxford University (UK), and a researcher at CESifo, an independent global research network. He is also a resource person for the African Economic Research Consortium and a researcher at the Economic Research Forum. He was a non-resident scholar at the Brookings Institution (USA).
Dr. Arezki has published numerous articles in leading academic journals and policy-oriented journals. He is co-editor and co-author of five books, including Shifting Commodity Markets in a Globalized World. Many of his research papers have been widely cited in academic circles and in the media that matter.
