Urgent: Press Release of the CODESA (Conference of Directors of African Statistical Schools) on the Senior Statistician Economist (ISE) Entrance Examinations
”The Conference of Directors of African Statistical Schools (CODESA) has noted that in one country with an examination centre, the order of the test-taking of the Baccalaureate and Bachelor’s level examinations test was reversed. The subjects of the Senior Statistician Economist (ISE) mathematics and economics examinations were thus revealed before the official date of the tests.
Considering this failure and its commitment to a rigorous, fair and irreproachable organisation of the entrance examinations to the African Schools of , CODESA in collaboration with the African Statistical Schools Support Centre, has taken the decision to postpone the Bachelor’s level Senior Statistician Economist (ISE) examination to a later date.
On the other hand, the Baccalaureate level examination has gone well and remains valid.
CODESA wishes to assure stakeholders, especially candidates from the various countries, that urgent measures are being taken for the timely organisation of the Bachelor’s level examinations.”
