ECOSTAT OBJECTIVES

ECOSTAT is an information, investigations and analyses newsletter created on February 10, 1995 by Mr. MOMO Joseph (Cameroonian, ISE 1997). It is the media outlet for all ENSEA students. It is the platform where students are overflowing with imagination and driven by the desire to express themselves . The club’s objectives are to inform, educate and entertain students.

The name ECOSTAT comes from the “eco” sound and “stat” for statistics. The leitmotif of the newspaper is: “The road is long, certainly, but the more you walk, the clearer the road will be… So why not dare? “.

The ECOSTAT office has set itself the specific objective of extending the scope of the ECOSTAT journal to all of Africa.

The ECOSTAT newspaper publishes three types of products: the weekly dispatch, the monthly review and the quarterly journal.

ECOSTAT’s originality and richness is the result of dynamic students who, amidst table assignments, multiple memoirs and working groups, devote time to writing articles with various headings: economics, study and research, reflection, culture and society, health, experts’ laughter, sport, etc. The ECOSTAT journal does not hesitate to approach resource persons, potential employers and seniors in order to conduct interviews, an effective way to obtain answers to the many questions asked by student statisticians.

ECOSTAT objectives are as follows:

Improve the quality of publications

Involve some former students of ENSEA and the other two statistical schools (ENSAE of Dakar and ISSEA of Yaoundé)

Extend the scope of publications through their regular online release
