The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), responsible for target 12.3 of the Sustainable Development Objectives (SDOs), is organizing a training workshop in Côte d’Ivoire at ENSEA in Abidjan from 11 to 13 June 2019 on the theme: “Monitoring SDOs target 12.3.: Building and monitoring the global food loss index”.
The objective of this workshop is to help countries to have statistical data on indicators and to know exactly in which sectors to invest. There is therefore a huge impact at the decision-making, political and strategic level,” said SAMY Gaiji, FAO Representative in Côte d’Ivoire. Auditors from several countries are taking part in this workshop, which was opened by Dr MOSSO Rosine, saying: “I am particularly pleased to take the floor this morning on behalf of the Director of ENSEA, Dr KOUADIO Hugues, to welcome you to the opening of this capacity-building workshop on the monitoring of the target 12.3 of the SDGs organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
