Reminder from the Council of Ministers on Wednesday 08 January 2020
Under the Ministry of Planning and Development ;
The Council adopted a communication on the pedagogical renovation of the École Nationale Supérieure de Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ENSEA).
The pedagogical renovation of ENSEA is part of the changes in the environment of the Network of African Statistical Schools (RESA) marked by academic and technological transformations and the evolution of the profession of statistician and data analysis specialist which require an adaptation of the quality of teaching. Faced with these challenges, ENSEA has decided, with the support of the Government, the private sector and technical and financial partners, to renovate existing programmes and open new initial and continuing training courses and programmes to adapt the statistical training on offer to the new expectations of the private sector, the public sector and society in general.
Begun in 2017 for a period of two (02) years, this pedagogical renovation has led to the creation of a new course of senior technicians at a A-level Diploma +3 years of advanced studies level, called Statistical Analysts, the opening of a doctoral training and the implementation of distance learning.
