TOYIDI Bello

Mr. BELLO TOYIDI holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in France in 1981 and a Specialized Studies Degree in Development Economics from the University of Paris-Nanterre.

After a year of teaching at the Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences of the University of Dakar in Senegal, he joined the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Côte d’Ivoire as an assistant in charge of tutorials in economic analysis, currency and monetary policy before inheriting this course from Professor Jean-Pierre DALOZ in 1985-1986.

After becoming Assistant Master, the Department of Currency and Financing was entrusted to him until his retirement in 1990. In 1991, he was recruited at ENSEA as a permanent lecturer in charge of the courses on monetary policy, development economics and especially research methodology, courses in which he still excels even as a temporary lecturer. He has participated in the training of several generations of statisticians who have great respect for the quality of his teaching.
