The Director of ENSEA expressed his gratitude to JHPIEGO, through its Country Director and his entire team, for the support provided to build the institutional capacities of ENSEA.
He paid special tribute to the President of the CSS, and through him, to PNSME for his availability and sense of duty well accomplished.
The objective of the PMA project is to contribute to a better knowledge of the dynamics of family planning and reproductive health. The project will collect, through an innovative platform, dynamic and cross-cutting data of high quality to enable concrete measurement and improve programme performance.
The Performance Monitoring for Action (PMA) project, formerly known as PMA 2020, is a platform launched in 2013 to provide quality data to countries for the monitoring of family planning-related programmes.
In the case of Côte d’Ivoire, two phases of collection were conducted: 2017 and 2018.
This platform is based on the regular conduct of nationally representative population surveys to monitor family planning indicators.
The project proposes an innovative methodology based on the use of resident interviewers (RE) and mobile data collection via smartphones.
The project involves 8 countries: Burkina Faso, Niger, Côte d’Ivoire, DRC, Nigeria, India, Uganda, Kenya, and Uganda.
