ENSEA: Awareness Campaign on 2020 Statistical Training geared towards Young Girls in Science Studies

For this second stage, at the Lycée Moderne 2 of Man, out of the 3 classrooms visited, the observation was the low rate of girls in High School Final Year in science classes. Boys did not want to be told about the presence of ENSEA of Abidjan in their school; they also wanted to participate in various information sessions.

At the University of Man, an amphitheatre packed with students welcomed the campaign with a much awaited message. Indeed, after the steps taken by the President of the University to ENSEA Management and after a process of validation of the training models, ENSEA now authorizes the Sciences and Technologies preparatory classes to sit for the entrance examinations in its training courses. A message that comes as a relief to students in this course.

This year’s innovation in the organization of ENSEA entrance exams is the opening of the Statistical Analysts (AS) course. A Bachelor’s degree level training course which takes place over 3 years, which entrance examination is taken by students in High School Final Year science classes and which final admission is subject to the obtaining of the A-level Diploma.
