As part of the pedagogical renovation of its training courses and in the implementation of its strategic plan, ENSEA Management has initiated a week of training on the presentation of the e-learning platform (TALENTSOFT) for the teaching staff of the school from 16 to 20 December 2019.
The objective of this training was to make operational the actors of e-learning to prepare the launch of distance learning at ENSEA. This pilot phase involves in addition to some selected lecturer-researchers of ENSEA, two (2) experts from Afristat, a representative of ENSAE of Dakar and a member of the school’s IT department.
According to Dr. Hugues KOUADIO, Director of ENSEA of Abidjan, the opening of distance learning at ENSEA will allow to reach a large number of people and will contribute to a quality statistical production.
The commitment of ENSEA management responds to a concern to provide a qualitative and quantitative response to the need for training and capacity building in the field of statistical training as an African Centre of Excellence (ACE).
At the end of the workshop, the participants all expressed their full satisfaction in benefiting from this training and promised to implement the knowledge gained, in order to open distance training at ENSEA very soon.
